It is amazing despite there being a legitimate shooting victim, Sergeant John Mattingly, and there is zero campaigns for him. He wasn't shot in a shoot out. Mattingly was the victim of the first shots fired, and all of them were fired at the police.

I follow Sgt. Mattingly on X & NEVER even realized that was the Sgt who was shot during the Breonna Taylor shooting. I always knew that the story sounded like bull! I have had many great exchanges with Sgt. Mattingly & he only specified that he was a victim of “gun violence”. We’ve spoken about all the hatred towards police & how people see what they want to see & hear what they want to hear BUT it really seems to be all the more when those people do not respect & appreciate our LEOs! They think they could do things differently or better & I sure don’t want to see that! I back our Blue & we can’t EVER show them the appreciation they deserve but I sure try!!

A couple of other points. Not only was Glover using Taylor's address as his mailing address, he was caught on video responding to her home and leaving her home with packages which he immediately delivered to a trap house, AKA a house used only for the sale of narcotics. At one point Taylor was observed riding with Glover to the trap house where they entered with a package and exited empty-handed.

Another point is that Taylor was also renting cars for Glover and his drug gang members and one of those Vehicles was used in a homicide.

And yet another point, Taylor and her new boyfriend were also involved in drug dealing, text messages and pictures found on his phone showed them posing with drugs and guns and making deals to sell drugs to other people.

Glover was also caught on jailhouse telephone calls telling people that Taylor managed his drug money for him and that she had approximately $15,000 of his money.

Lastly, Taylor's new boyfriend told police that he thought officers were part of a home invasion crew, but why would anybody be conducting a home invasion on that house at that time of the night? That's right, because the new boyfriend was known to be a drug dealer and drug dealers rob drug dealers, so most likely he feared other drug dealers. He also called 911 after the shooting and told 911 dispatchers that Taylor was the one who fired the shots. He repeated that lie to officers who entered the home and only later admitted that he was the one who fired the shots.

Every damned person in the urban community knows full well that drug dealers use women with good reputations and good jobs to help further their drug operations. It's not something that happens from time to time, it's something that happens every day. Taylor was voluntarily being used by her former drug dealing boyfriend to further his drug operation and it was all documented on video and in the warrant.

There used to be a partnership between the news media and the police an unwritten rule and a trust that went both ways. Today there is little to no fact checking and accountability in the media. The news is not the news but rather a series of stories that are designed to garner ratings. We have evolved into a society that is used to having information at our fingertips yet we have failed to realize that many of these stories are just that "stories" not hard and true facts that represent what took place.
