Four years ago police officers served a legal warrant in Louisville, KY in an effort to take dangerous drugs off the street.
During that incident a woman named Breonna Taylor was killed.
The lies and misinformation that are still being spread about the facts of this case and the involved officers are disgusting.
The fact that an article like this needs to be written to combat a dishonest narrative is a testament to how low the grifters that profit from the division are willing to go.
Here is what Ben Crump posted on X today.
Correcting the Record. Again.
Four years ago police officers served a legal warrant in Louisville, KY in an effort to take dangerous drugs off the street. The warrant was for an apartment rented by Breonna Taylor. The criminal investigation was in reference to a large drug trafficking operation.
That investigation centered around suspected trafficker - Jamarcus Glover (Breonna Taylor’s ex-boyfriend).
Breonna’s apartment was the subject of a search for a several reasons - here are a few:
Glover used her apartment as his mailing address.
Breonna was his emergency contact.
Breonna was caught on video going to the “stash house”.
Breonna was caught on recorded jail phone calls with Glover talking about the drug trafficking operation.
The search warrant was served and officers knocked on the door and announced their presence. The knocks were so loud that they woke the occupants (Breonna and her new boyfriend (Kenny Walker)).
Breonna and Kenny refused to answer the door. Instead they got dressed and Kenny armed himself with a handgun. Both Breonna and Kenny stood in the narrow hallway and faced the front door.
Eventually police officers forced entry and Kenny fired his weapon at police. Sergeant John Mattingly was struck in the leg and nearly died. Officers then retired fire - as they should have done.
Coward Kenny used Breonna as a shield and dove into a bedroom - leaving Breonna in the hallway. Kenny survived. Breonna died from her injuries.
Kenny initially told investigators that Breonna was the one who shot at police officers. Yeah. Kenny is a total piece of shit.
The use of deadly force by police was ruled 100% LEGAL by both state and federal prosecutors. Even the DOJ of the Biden administration found that the use of deadly force was objectively reasonable and within the law.
Much of the information that I provided can be found in the book “12 seconds in the dark” written by Sergeant John Mattingly. My brief synopsis certainly did not do his account justice and I highly recommend this book.
The hope is that this is the last time that it is necessary to defend truth and correct the record, but I suspect that it is not.
For example, the X account for former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords was one of thousands who repeated the lie that Breonna was “in her own bed” when killed by police during a “no-knock warrant”.
There is a lot of work to be done. Combating the dishonest narratives in this space is important - as we cannot concede what is real, objective truth.
Thanks for your continued support.
It is amazing despite there being a legitimate shooting victim, Sergeant John Mattingly, and there is zero campaigns for him. He wasn't shot in a shoot out. Mattingly was the victim of the first shots fired, and all of them were fired at the police.
I never believed the false narrative! Ben Crump is so corrupt it is disgusting! Karma will one day get him! When all you put out is Evil, it always comes back to you 10 fold one day!!!
Thank you for posting the "Absolute Truth". I pray people will choose to believe it over the terrible lies!!
