LASD deputy Ryan Clinkunbroomer ambushed.
Andreas Probst killed while riding bike.
Band director from hell.
1. Ryan Clinkunbroomer
On September 16, 2023 Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department deputy Ryan Clinkunbroomer was killed in a cowardly ambush attack.
Deputy Clinkunbroomer was just thirty years old and had gotten engaged four days before his murder. He had been hired by LASD in 2018 and was a field training officer.
He was in his patrol vehicle and had stopped at a red light near the Palmdale Sheriff’s Station. The offender pulled up alongside the deputy and without warning fired shots into the police vehicle - striking Deputy Clinkunbroomer in the head.
A passerby located Deputy Clinkunbroomer a few moments later and notified the authorities.
On September 18, 2023 a suspect was arrested in connection with Deputy Clinkunbroomer’s murder after an hours-long standoff. The suspect (Kevin Cataneo Salazar) was reportedly mentally ill and was hearing voices.
There is something shocking to the conscience when a police officer dies in the line of duty. There are other jobs that are statistically more dangerous. But, it strikes different when a life is taken by the final violence of another human being.
Police should always be ready and willing to engage with aberrant maniacs. When police officers go to a domestic call or conduct a traffic stop - they always have a chance if attacked. Police train for such instances. But, Deputy Clinkunbroomer was not afforded that chance. He was truly ambushed. It could have been any of us. We all know it.
4. Andreas Probst
On August 14, 2023 retired California police chief (Andreas Probst) was on a bike ride in Las Vegas, NV - something he did to stay active.
At the same time two violent thugs were driving a stolen vehicle and trolling for a victim. Jesus Ayala (17) and Jzamir Keys (16) filmed themselves intentionally striking Probst with the vehicle.
On the video Ayala can be heard asking Keys if he was “ready” before the two began laughing as the Keys sais, “Yeah, hit his ass.”
The car struck the defenseless cyclist, tossing him over the hood of the vehicle and leaving him to die on the side of the road. They laughed as they drove away.
The two thugs face charges of murder with a deadly weapon, battery, and attempted murder. Their respective mothers are publicly feuding over who has the most awful son.
Bottom line. Ayala and Keys do not care about the lives of other people. Disgusting behavior like that is learned - and we must all work to kill the messenger.
3. Band Director from Hell
Johnny Mims is the band director at Minor High School and he is just plain fucking awful.
At a high school football game in Birmingham, AL police officers had been tasked with ensuring that the fans exited the stadium in a safe and timely manner. After the game the home and visiting teams bands were still playing. This encouraged spectators to remain.
Police officers contacted the band director of the home team, explain the situation, and asked the band director to stop playing. And, they did.
Police officers then contacted the visiting team band director (Mims). Mims refused to stop playing and told the police officers to “get out of my face” seven times. After several minutes police officers then informed Mims that he would be arrested. Mims gave police officers a thumbs up and said, “That’s cool!”
Police officers eventually made good on their word and placed Mims under arrest. Allegedly Mims then resisted arrest and tryied to “swing” at a police officer.
The MainStream Media and anti-police activists dishonestly claim that Mims was tased because he did not stop playing. That is untrue and ridiculous.
If you resist arrest or swing at an officer. Police might use force. That force might be a Taser. I don’t care if you direct the Chicago fucking symphony. Be a decent human. And you’ll likely be ok. Fortunately, this outcome is really easy to avoid.
Mims was arrested for and charged with disorderly conduct, harassment and resisting arrest.
What an awful example Mims set for the high school students.
The more that people resist lawful arrest - the more likely that force will be used by police. Mims either knows this is the message and he is arrogant or evil. Or he is to ignorant to realize. Either way - he has zero business working at a high school.
I have no issue with this one.
I agree with correcting the bad information that made to make the police look bad, however I also believe this was an unfortunate unforced error. Here is another situation a school punted something that was their responsibility to the police. (no pun intended) The band director is a faculty member, if he doesn't stop playing, then the principle goes up in the stand and orders him to stop and get the band home, simple as that. If he doesn't he gets suspended and the principal takes over supervising the kids. Why were the police even involved?
Thank you for telling it how it is. Not enough people speak up. Love reading Policing
