Leonard Cure OIS
Lying Dog Faced Pony Soldier
Texas State Fair Shooting
1. Leonard Cure OIS
Leonard Cure spent 16 years in prison for a crime that he did not commit. He was exonerated three years ago and released. While free Mr. Cure has spent his time speaking about his horrific ordeal to community groups and students across the country.
On October 16, 2023 Mr. Cure was pulled over by a deputy with the Camden County Sheriff’s Office in Georgia for traveling over 100 mph. This interaction with law enforcement ended in an officer-involved-shooting where Mr. Cure sustained a fatal gunshot wound.
*This case will be the featured in our flagship series “Officer Involved” this weekend - where we breakdown in detail a controversial Officer-Involved-Shooting.
Attorney Ben Crump has been retained and is already spinning a dishonest narrative. This is an impressive feat as the police body cam and dash cam footage have been released and (after watching) the objective evidence will leave zero doubt in the mind of anyone honest that this was a completely justified use of force by the officer.
This one is not close. However, it is going to take a massive effort to combat the race-baiting anti-police activists on this one. So…

2. Lying Dog Faced Pony Soldier
On October 6, 2023 deputies with the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office in New Mexico responded to a domestic dispute call. As the deputies walked down a road and searched for the residence - they came upon a property that had an open gate. Prior to police officers entering the gate an aggressive pit bull came at the officers - growling and barking.
The involved deputy backed up and the dog left the perimeter of the yard and continued to aggressively advance on the deputy. The deputy drew his handgun and fired one round at the rabid animal. The dog then ran away whimpering.
The dog (Leche) did survive but will require surgery and a leg amputation.
The owners of the dog were outside on the porch as this occurred and denied that the animal attacked the deputy.
Within days the family went on the news and made three specific complaints about the deputy.
That the deputies had no lawful reason to be at the home.
That the dog was “tied up”.
That the deputies refused to offer an explanation as to why the dog was shot.
Thankfully the deputies were wearing body cameras and the leadership at the Sheriff’s office released the footage quickly. The unbiased body cam shows the following:
The deputies were responding to a domestic dispute. Therefore, they had a legal reason to be at the home.
The dog was not “tied up”.
The deputy immediately explained to the owners that the reason that the dog was shot was because it had attacked the deputy.
If a person files a false complaint against a police officer - they should be prosecuted and the officer should be allowed to sue the liar.
This is not the fault of the dog. The dog was being a dog. This is a case of irresponsible and dishonest pet owners.
3. Texas State Fair Shooting
There was an active shooter at the Texas Fair in Dallas over the weekend. Three people were shot, though, thankfully, none of the injuries sustained were life-threatening.
Thousands of people in attendance rushed to exit the fairgrounds at the same time as shots rang out.
Law enforcement responded quickly and apprehended the alleged offender - twenty-two year old Cameron Turner.
This incident exposes the inaccuracy of two myths.
1: Police kill black suspects indiscriminately.
2: Gun laws work.
Here’s the evidence that dismantles these two lazy and dishonest myths.
First
Police kill black suspects indiscriminately
After the Kyle Rittenhouse incident in Kenosha, WI - anti-police activists, mainstream media, and other dishonest critics opined that “if Kyle Rittenhouse were black - he would have been killed by police.”
Of course this is a silly hypothetical game. But, if they want to play it - we can. And, we will win.
I have explained for years that Rittenhouse would not have been killed by police officers, no matter what his skin color was - assuming he exhibited the same behavior. That is - not attack or threaten police officers during arrest.
Because if you do not run from, fight with, or otherwise resist arrest - the chances that you will be harmed by police officer are virtually zero.
The alleged offender at the Texas state fair is a 22 year old man named Cameron Turner. He was arrested by police without incident. That is because he did not threaten police with the gun that he used against his victims. This is how virtually all arrests go - when a person does not pose a deadly threat to law enforcement. Also, this is the goal. This is what police want. Since police officers are generally well-trained and professional this is how the vast majority of arrests occur.
Mr. Turner did not threaten police and was arrested without incident - even though he shot three people.
Back in August of this year Ta’Kiya Young was shot and killed by a police officer in Ohio - even though the reason for the initial arrest was only shoplifting. However, she drove her car towards an officer - prompting him to utilize deadly force.
The level of force used by a police officer has far more to do with the offender’s level of resistance than the severity of the crime committed.
Second
Gun laws don’t work
Texas State Fair instituted a policy that weapons were not allowed on the property. However, there is an exception for licensed gun owners.
Karissa Condoianis (the senior vice president of public relations for the State Fair of Texas) said, "We don’t allow weapons in the State Fair of Texas. However, we understand that Texans have the right to carry their weapons. So, we have a middle ground where those that have a license to carry are allowed to come in with a concealed weapon.”
There is no indication that Mr. Turner was a licensed gun owner. Aside from running an official background check - the best evidence to support this - is that licensed gun owners rarely shoot three people in a public space, for no reason, and then run from the scene.
This is the point - the people who violate the murder laws will not follow the gun control laws. And, when you add defunding and dismantling police departments as a seasoning on top of this shit sandwich - the result is predictable. Individuals must take the job of personal safety seriously. Even well-trained and well-intentioned police officers cannot prevent an active shooter - the best we can hope for is a quick and aggressive response.
The race of a suspect should not be the reason that a story receives more or less coverage by the news media.
Until I posted the video on Tik Tok many people had not even heard of this incident.
An active shooter at a State Fair should be one of the biggest stories in the country. This type of media bias will continue until we demand to be informed. Or, consume news from honest, alternative media sources.
I did a breakdown of the Cure shooting as well and like you i believe that it was legally justified.
Just a couple of points I'd like to make. There were some visual cues that occurred during this incident that could have indicated that the suspect was either prior military or had spent time in prison which we now know was the latter. As soon as Mr Cure exited his vehicle he snapped to attention. It seems that this was a conditioned response to his more than a decade in prison. After that, the majority of his actions indicated that he was not going to comply and that he had an issue with authority. From his refusals to immediately walk to the back of the vehicle and put his hands on the back of it, to the way he did it when he finally did go to the back of the truck all indicated that he wasn't going to comply and he might possibly be planning the attack that eventually came. He placed his hands on the vehicle in such a way that he could constantly be aware of the officers location and be able to move from his location towards the officer. When he was eventually tasered and of course it had almost no effect, as soon as the activation ended he turned towards the officer and begin pinwheeling his arms as he approached the officer. While some might believe this was random, those of us in law enforcement have seen videos of prisoners training just such a move. The purpose is to wrap the wires from the taser up and rip them from the taser or break them to prevent a second activation and as you see it worked perfectly. I also believe that the tactic that Mr Cure used against the officer was something he had practiced in the prison yard. I do not believe that Cure's intention was to choke the officer. If you look closely his hand is not on the officer's throat but rather directly up underneath the officer's chin pushing the officer's head backwards. I believe this was a trained maneuver by Mr Cure to break the officers neck or back. Even in the still shot that you placed here you can see that the officer is bent over nearly 90° with his neck and head being pushed backwards as Mr Cure yells "yeah b****" !. I've seen similar assaults on hidden videos taken from prisoners where they train to assault officers. In my personal opinion this officer truly believed that he was about to be seriously injured or killed and this shooting was completely justified. Then of course you have that piece of human garbage Crump trying to make this about race. Thankfully, as you said everything is on body camera and captured on in car camera and it is as clear as it can be that this officer acted legally and the use of force was justified to prevent injury or death to himself.
