Always felt bad for those officers. Caught up in a case that was never going to go their way, and led to tragedy by a senior cop who screwed them.

Totally unjust in my opinion.

MN gets what's they deserve. Reduced policing and increased violence.

I tend to disagree with your assessment of Chauvins "excessive force" though.

Last I saw, he was following their department policy for combative suspects (my understanding was that they did not have anything in place like the Passive Restraint System).

Assuming that is true, how better to restrain someone while waiting for medical and keep him from slamming his own head into the ground or spitting/biting officers?

“ If the goal is to further divide and sow mistrust - this was a brilliant way to achieve that sick outcome.” This was EXACTLY the goal of racial activists, as it always is.

I was under the impression that 2 of the officers were in their first week of FTO. Was I mistaken about one of them? That just really adds to the insanity of charging them.

I just wanted to mention that very few voices are calling out the Tou Thao conviction for what it the miscarriage of justice it represents. This hopefully will be the wake up call to our nations young officers that you don't need to do anything wrong but wear the badge to unjustly lose it all.
